doh!

Okay, I'm a loser. I waited until now to try to register for WonderCon and just found out it sold out. Argh. In the past, WCon had plenty of space in artist's alley, as they would just add in more tables in that corner of Moscone. Apparently it has sold out much earlier in the fall months preceding the con, at least in the last two years. Ah well, lesson learned. I'll get in there early next time.

THIS DOES NOT derail the launch of issue one, however. That's still slated to hit the online store (Comixpress) at the beginning of April, along with a few full-color pin-up posters. So stay tuned if you're feeling a bit Peckish.

Hey Mario! That sucks to miss out on WonderCon. Can you get on a waiting list in case someone else bails?

I'd love to see more of this Peck, and his adventures. Who is your target audience? Have you completed your first graphic novel or are you working on it now?

Nice art so far!

Hi Margaret. Good to hear from you. Yes, WCon has a waiting list, but it's many pages deep. I'll get signed up this summer/fall for the next one for sure!

Thanks for the feedback on Peck. He's a labor of love. The current pages up represent chapter one of a five chapter graphic novel. You ask a good question about target audience. It's something I've been trying to figure out. Mostly I'm writing the kind of graphic novel I'd like to read. As you well know, comedy can be a challenging genre to write for. As I shape up the site (it will be renamed as "peckcomics.com" before the summer) and get it on a consistent weekly schedule, I'm going to try to use a brief survey to find out who (if anyone :) reading it. The biggest thing I need to focus on right now is content.

PS>> I'd love to pick your brain on your experience with blogging. I'm a newbie in this realm.
